Alva’s Education Foundation signs MOU with European Universities

Alva’s Education Foundation is an integral part of the India Platform, a consortium of leading institutes and Universities in Karnataka along with like-minded universities from various parts of the European Union. There are 16 constituents in this consortium, 11 from India including IIT Jodhpur, M.S. Ramaiah University, B.M.S. Institute of Technology and BNMIT.

The consortium also comprises of the following European partners

  • Ghent University (Belgium)
  • Ghent University Hospital (Belgium)
  • NP-Bridging (Belgium)
  • The University of Antwerp (Belgium)
  • The University of Pardubise (The Czech Republic)
  • The University of Aveiro (Portugal)
  • The University of Groningen (The Netherlands)

All the 16 constituent Indian and European partners have mutual MOU’s for knowledge sharing. The Alva’s Education Foundation has also signed an exclusive MOU with Ghent University in the field of sports physiotherapy and initial rounds of talks have already been over with the other universities. The understandings are on student exchanges, faculty exchanges, joint projects handling and utilization of mutual resources in the domains of social work, languages, arts, engineering, management, community medicine and nursing.

The MOU was signed by Shri Vivek Alva, Managing Trustee of Alva’s Education Foundation Moodbidri and Prof. Dr. Koen Goethals , Chief Academic Administrator of Ghent University.
