Japan Higher Education Interaction Session @ AIET
In an effort to attract more and more Indian students to growing higher educational opportunities in Japan, Director, University of Tokyo, India office and Director, Ritusumeikan India office were invited at Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology on 16th January 2019. The delegation arrived for Japan Higher Education Interaction Session. One of the important mission of the project was to attract excellent students from India. This delegation was the result of the Japanese government’s mission to invite students from India. This was based on the special strategic program signed between the Indian and Japanese govt.
They spoke about the opportunities for Indian students get into their universities. In the interaction, admission procedure for higher education in Japan universities through the MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) scholarship was highlighted. Interested students have to first pick their search proposal and then find a professor in the university they are interested in. Students who are eligible are provided with full scholarships from the Japan government as well as from the respective university. They emphasized on the point that a common research program was necessary to have an MOU between the colleges. The University of Tokyo is one of the top 10 universities in the world.

ಮಿಜಾರ್: Tokyo Univeristy and Ritusumeikan university ಎರಡು ಜಪಾನೀಸ್ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳ್ವಾಸ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಆಂಡ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಜಪಾನಿನ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಸಂವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಜಪಾನ್ ಸರಕಾರದ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಂತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪಾನ್‌ಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುವುದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದು ಭಾರತ ಸರಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಜಪಾನ್ ಸರಕಾರದ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವಾಗಿತ್ತು.ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗಬಹುದಾದ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೋದಕ ವಗ೯ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಖಲಾತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಆಸಕ್ತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ಅಹ೯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಿಂದ ಪೂಣ೯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ MOU ಕಾಯ೯ಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ವಿಶ್ವದ ೧೦ ಉನ್ನತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಟೋಕಿಯೊವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯವೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ.
