OBJECTIVES: Establishing the ISTE Chapter was to enhance the technical knowledge, professional skills, and overall development of the students through various academic and co-curricular activities.
PG Department of Business Administration organised inauguration program of “INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (ISTE)” Student Chapter for I year and II-year MBA students on 31-07-2025, Thursday, between 04:00PM to 05:00 PM. The total number of students who attended is 207.
The event was compered by Ms. Shreya, I Year MBA, who led the session with grace and clarity. Ms. Ameya, I Year MBA, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries, faculty members, students, and the guest speaker, setting the tone for the formal proceedings. Ms. Sana, I Year MBA, introduced the guest of honour and resource person, Dr. Suresh D. S., a prominent academician and expert in the field of technical education. She highlighted his contributions and achievements. The event was attended by notable faculty members, including Dr. Priya Sequeira, HOD, MBA, Dr. Dathathreya, HOD, Electronics & Communication and Dr. Pradeep, HOD, Electronics & Computer Applications. Following the introductions, Dr. Dathathreya addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of technical education in today’s rapidly evolving world. He motivated the students to utilize platforms like ISTE to build their knowledge and professional skills.
The Chief Guest for the event, Dr. Suresh D. S, in inaugural address, emphasized the significance of technical education in nation-building. They appreciated the efforts of the institution in promoting professional societies like ISTE and encouraged students to actively participate in its activities. He explained the importance of ISTE, especially for MBA students. He elaborated on how ISTE helps bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. He encouraged students to actively participate in ISTE events to enhance leadership, communication, and technical management skills. His address was highly engaging and left a lasting impression on the attendees.

CONCLUSION:

With the active involvement of faculty and enthusiastic participation of students, the program laid a strong foundation for future activities under ISTE, promoting interdisciplinary learning, leadership, and innovation.
