The AICTE IDea (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab at Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET) is a flagship initiative designed to transform the institution into a hub of innovation, creativity, and practical problem-solving. Supported by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the lab nurtures a culture of hands-on learning and multidisciplinary innovation across all branches of engineering.
Positioned as a cutting-edge innovation space, the IDea Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, embedded systems kits, IoT devices, AR/VR development platforms, and advanced simulation/prototyping software. These facilities empower students, faculty, and aspiring innovators to ideate, design, prototype, and test solutions for real-world challenges.
