Group discussion is an important activity in academic, business and administrative spheres. It is a systematic and purposeful interactive oral process. Here the exchange of ideas, thoughts and feelings take place through oral communication.The Group Discussion session was conducted by Mr. Johnson Fernandes and Mr. GuruprasadPai, Professor, PG Department of Business

The Group Discussion session was conducted by Mr. Johnson Fernandes and Mr. GuruprasadPai, Professor, PG Department of Business Administration. The students were divided into groups to train them Do’s and Don’ts of a Group discussion and also various topics were given to them to discuss in the group, The students were instructed how to participate in the group discussion followed by practical session, where student were divided into groups and various topics were given for discussion. At the end of each group
discussion the resource persons provided the feedback on individual student’s performance.
In the end of the session Students were enlightened on the importance of group discussion. Students were informed on Do’s and Don’ts of group discussion and they got proper idea on how exactly they can participate well and make an impact in the group discussion.The importance of leadership and team spirit was explained through various examples
