Industrial visits are mandated by VTU to lessen the gap between classroom lessons and practical working environment in the corporates. AIET holds one outside the state industrial tour for a week at least during the academic year and local industrial visits every month for students to get an overview of the internal working of companies. Industry visits sensitize students to the practical challenges an industry or organization faces every day. It also helps students to plan their careers.
Healthy and fulfilling social connections can bring out the best in humanity. AIET being in rural settings has plenty of opportunities to reach out to the neighbouring Government schools, primary health centres, meet farmers and small business people and share with them their knowledge, abilities and skills. The NSS, NCC, and several other clubs are continuously engaged in some social service with high impact.
