Hands-on session on: “Lets learn MS-Office: ICT Tool” was conducted for 2nd year Engineering stream students during 16th Dec 2020 to 17th Dec 2020 and for 1st year MBA stream students during 11th Feb 2021 to 12th Feb 2021.

 

2. Hands-on sessions on "Quickstart into Computational Fluid Dynamics using OpenFOAM”

Hands-on session on "Quickstart into Computational Fluid Dynamics using OpenFOAM” was conducted for 6th sem Mechanical Engineering students during 08th April 2021 to 10th April 2021 by Prof. Kiran C H.

3. Hands-on sessions on "COMSOL Multiphysics Simulation tool for MEMS application”

"COMSOL Multiphysics Simulation tool for MEMS application”, Hands-on sessions were conducted in MEMS Lab for 4th sem Electronics and Communication Engineering students during 15th April 2021 to 17th April 2021 by Mr. Aneesh Jain M V.

Hands-on session on "Scilab for computational Engineering application” were conducted in CADD Lab for 6th sem Civil and Mechanical Engineering students during 15th April 2021 to 17th April 2021 by Mr. Surendra P.

5. Training session on "Google Spreadsheet for Civil Engineers”

Training session on "Google Spreadsheet for Civil Engineers” was conducted on online platform for Civil Engineering students on 10th May 2021 by Prof. Arun Kumar G S.

6. Report on “Advanced Excel”

Classes on “Advanced Excel” were conducted for the First year MBA students by Dr. Kamalakkannan, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration from 4th February 2021 to 27th April 2021. The main aim of the program was to train the students in Advanced excel which is useful in academics and business activities.

Hands-on session on: “Familiarization of ICT Tool: MS-Office” was conducted for 2nd year Engineering stream students during 05th Dec 2020 to 06th Aug 2019 and for 1st year MBA stream students during 17th Oct 2019 to 18th Feb 2019.

Let’s Learn LaTeX training sessions was conducted for final year Engineering circuit branch students during 14th and 15th of Feb 2019 and other non circuit branches during 17th and 18th of Feb 2019.

6. Two-Day Technical Session on HR Analytics

On 21/11/2018 & 22.11.2018 by Mr. Ashok D’Souza, Lead Analyst, MResult Services Pvt. Ltd. Mangalore conducted a technical session for II semester MBA students and faculty. The resource person informed them on the value of HR Analytics, the commonly used software in industries and the visualization techniques and how to use them.

7. Two Day Technical session on GST Regime and Its Implications

Two day technical session was organized on 18th & 19th May 2019 by the department to create an awareness of the new GST regime and its implications to all concerned for 4th semester of MBA students. Mr.Flenil D’Souza, Charted Accountant, Nithin J. Shetty & Co., Mangalore a budding tax expert in Mangalore was the resource person. Since GST is part of their syllabus it helped them immensely to learn the practical implications of GST.

Two days Hands-on session on Let’s learn MS-Office: ICT Tool was conducted in the month of August 2017 for 2nd year Engineering students. For first-year MBA students, it was conducted on the 28th and 29th of Nov 2017.
