Cynex Forum Inauguration

To ignite enthusiasm and foster a sense of community among the incoming batch, the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering (IoT and Cyber Security including
Blockchain) proudly inaugurated its official student forum, CYNEX, exclusively for the
freshers.
The inauguration of CYNEX marked a significant step in building an engaging, knowledge-
driven environment that encourages students to go beyond the classroom. Designed as a
platform “by the students, for the students”. CYNEX aims to nurture curiosity, innovation,
and collaboration in areas such as IoT, Cyber Security, Blockchain, and Emerging
Technologies.
The forum was formally launched with an engaging welcome session, attended by faculty
members, industry professionals, and enthusiastic students. The event featured interactive
activities, tech games, and motivational talks, helping freshers feel welcomed and integrated
into the department’s vibrant culture.
CYNEX will act as a catalyst for student development by organizing technical workshops,
coding challenges, security awareness campaigns, project exhibitions, and expert sessions
throughout the academic year. It also serves as a hub where students can explore real-world
problem-solving, team collaboration, and leadership—skills essential for their academic and
professional journey.
With the successful inauguration of CYNEX, the department has laid a strong foundation for
empowering its students to grow not only as technologists but also as responsible digital
citizens and future innovators.
