REPORT ON FORUM ACTIVITY:SELL YOUR COURSE

Objectives:

  • Enhanced public speaking and persuasion

Participants learned to confidently present and convincingly pitch their ideas to an audience, improving their communication and persuasion skills.

  •  Developed creative course ideation under time constraints

The overnight task encouraged quick thinking and innovation, helping teams generate unique course ideas within a limited time.

  • Improved confidence and team coordination

Working together under pressure strengthened collaboration, trust, and self-assurance among team members.

 

As part of the activity, each team was divided into two sub-teams. Sub-team A from each team was assigned the task of selling a course. It was an overnight challenge where the sub-teams had to independently select a course and prepare a PowerPoint presentation to promote it. The next day, they presented their pitch, highlighting the course features, target audience, benefits, and promotional strategies. This activity was judged by Mrs. Archana D P and Mr. Samyak Jain. The activity aimed to enhance their marketing, communication, and time management skills. Overall, the task was executed well, and the team showcased strong coordination and presentation abilities.

Activity -2

Here, the task was allocated to Sub-team B where participants had to select any three listed stocks of their choice and justify their selection through a PPT. The main objective was to assess their ability to analyze and present stock picks using company insights, market trends, and performance data. They were expected to support their choices with facts from news, industry growth, financial analysis, and company performance. The activity was judged by Dr. Vijay Joshi .This activity helped Sub-team B enhance their analytical thinking, research capabilities, and presentation skills.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Strengthened research and analytical skills

Participants learned to gather relevant data, interpret it effectively, and draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Improved understanding of financial markets

The activity provided practical exposure to market trends, stock performance, and investment strategies.

  • Gained confidence in handling financial data and industry information Students became more comfortable working with real-world financial charts, company reports, and economic indicators.
