The Department of ISE organized two day event named “Women’s Self Defense” with the slogan “Why to depend on MAN when there is a MAN in WO – MAN” on 3rd and 4th Oct
2015 by a Resource person Ms. Ankita Bane. Ms.Ankita Bane is an international Boxer and Karate Player, Mumbai. Around 500 students of AEF were involved in learning the various techniques to protect themselves when they are being attacked in various situations. This workshop was conducted in Vidyagiri campus to focus the degree and post graduate students. The way Ms. Ankita Bane motivated the students to defend yourself was really helpful as the response of the student per session was amazing and they look forward to motivate others too. The total amount of Rs. 25000 was collected and the same amount is used for social purpose.
